As I walked thru the halls of Kaiser today, a painting caught my eye. I stopped to look at it— I saw your name and remembered a young fiddler in the ‘70s who used attend pickin’ parties & the annual Chili Festival & Carnal Spectacular at my house on Portola Way in Curtis Park in the 70’s. I was the lead singer in the trio Risin’ at Original Shakey’s on J, with Mike McLean & Rob Shotwell. Great to see you—I like your art very much and I’m happy you’re still fiddling. Play on!

Last year I looked up the banjo player Steve Krouse to offer his band a job when I was on the board of Vallhalla Arts.
We should sit down behind masks and go over everything?
